Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (CLSSGB)
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (CLSSGB) operates in support or under the supervision of a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, analyzes and solves quality problems, and is involved in quality improvement projects. Its main objective is to raise the skills and competence level of our professionals so that they are capable to fully understand the application of Lean Six Sigma tools & techniques to analyze problems, defects, and errors, and identify root causes for implementing corrective and preventive actions. Practical demonstration of computer software (M.S. Excel , M.S. Visio & Minitab) is also included in this course.
CONTENTS:
Introduction
What is Six Sigma and Lean concepts, Metrics of Lean Six Sigma, Team structure in Lean Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma Tools that need teamwork.
Define Phase
Project Charter, IPO & SIPOC Diagram, Process Mapping (Linear and Cross-functional), Value-added Vs Non-Value added, Value stream mapping.
Measure Phase
Calculate process performance metrics such as (DPU, RTY, CoPQ, DPMO, sigma levels), Measurement system analysis, Descriptive Statistics, Cause and Effect Analysis, Process capability analysis.
Analyze Phase
Hypothesis testing Basics, Tests for means, variances, and proportions, Regression Analysis, Correlation Analysis.
Improve Phase
Introduction to Experiment, Full Factorial Design, General Factorial Design, Fractional Factorial Design; Lean Tools: Waste elimination (Select and apply tools and techniques for eliminating or preventing waste, including pull systems, kanban, 5S, standard work, and poka-yoke), Cycle-time reduction (Use various techniques to reduce cycle time (continuous flow, setup reduction)).
Control Phases
Failure Mode & Effect Analysis, Statistical process control charts (Variable & Attribute), Process Control plans
