OTHM
The Level 6 qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety are developed to provide learners who have or are looking to develop into a senior role in an organization for managing health and safety policy and practice. Learners will gain the skills and knowledge to understand the legal and regulatory background to occupational health and safety policy, to be able to assess policies, as well as to recommend and implement policy changes. Learners will develop knowledge and skills relevant to putting policy into practice, utilizing management systems, resources, risk and incident management, leadership, management, and skills development. Individuals successfully completing the diploma qualification will be eligible to apply for the Graduate level of membership Grad IOSH.
NEBOSH
National Examination Board in Occupational safety and health is a UK-based independent examination board delivering vocational qualifications in health, safety & environmental practice and management. It was founded in 1979 and has charitable status. NEBOSH is a leading global brand in health, safety and environmental qualifications. Our internationally recognized qualifications help to raise the competence of safety and environmental professionals as well as individuals at all levels in the workplace. Since Nebosh inception in 1979 more than half a million people from around the world have studied for a NEBOSH qualification. Tens of thousands join their number every year studying with our network of 600 course providers in over 132 countries. NEBOSH qualifications are highly respected by governments, employers and our students. IOSH
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health is a British organization for health and safety professionals. IOSH is the biggest health and safety membership organization in the world, and also the only Chartered body for health and safety professionals. IOSH is the chartered professional body for safety and health in the workplace. It acts as a champion, supporter, adviser, advocate and trainer for those who protect the safety, health and well-being of others. IOSH has over 46,000 members, from over 120 countries. This includes an extensive trainer network. Over 179,000 delegates attended IOSH training courses in 2016.
